Project Description
External redecoration, structural repairs and waterproofing to a high rise apartment block in Muizenberg.
The works consisted of extensive face brick repairs, concrete spalling repairs, plaster repairs, joint sealing, waterproofing and painting works.
The work areas were accessed with mobile platforms, rope access and scaffolding.
Specialist materials supplied by Dulux paints and SIKA concrete and mortar repair manufacturers were used to refurbish this 30 meter high structure.
All works were completed whilst the building was fully occupied and care had to be taken in order to minimise noise and insure the safety of all occupants and public throughout restoration period.
