Project Description
This six-level office building in Kloof Street Cape Town received a complete external upgrade.
Krause Painting and Restoration carried out high pressure hydro washing, pointing repairs to brick work and minor concrete and plaster repairs.
Once all the surfaces had been inspected and repaired, the building was then coated with a three coat acrylic paint system comprising of a full plaster primer and two coats of Dulux Wall Guard.
All steel elements were coated with a four coat system, made up of steel primer, universal undercoat and two top coats of Dulux enamel.
All the works were carried out off mobile platforms in order to safely access the facades.
Earlgo Building’s new coating system will protect the building fabric from the elements for a number of years to come.
